Marc Coppins:

Marc is originally from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. In 1999, he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At the time he was working in a factory and the heat really affected his body. He had to find a different career. He always had an interest in computers, so he took some computer programming courses at MCTI. While in school, he fell in love with Barb and also with designing web sites. After he went to work for the Defense Logistics Service for the Government. There he learned a wealth of knowledge, not doing web design, but working with web sites and learning from their sites.

If you are reading this about Marc, you may be wondering "what happens if the disease gets so bad that he can't work on web sites anymore?' This is a very legitimate question. As of right now, I am writing these very words. You will have to get to know me, but as far as the disease is concerned, I am very hard headed and I do not let it get me down. I am training someone as a back up plan to eventually take over this business. This person has the very same morals and values that I have. Barb will still be a very large part of this business, and that is where a lot of the morals and values in Net Magik Pros comes from.

I am in the process of passing along every bit of knowledge that I have acquired over the last 10 years and the person that I am passing this knowledge knows a lot of other things that I don't about the web site design and development business. This means that you will get the same or better service that you get no matter who is maintaining your web site.

Update: (July 13, 2011)
On March 30, 2011, Marc went to Chicago to have a stem cell treatment done. This was almost a 3 month process and the recovery time is about 2 years (possibly more). The good news is that this treatment stops MS from progressing any further (that's the worst as long as you live through the treatment, which there haven't been any deaths due to complications from the study). The best part is that the other things that could happen are, the MS symptoms do not get any worse, there could be a partial reversal of symptoms, or a total reversal of symptoms.

"I will be happy if this just stops the disease from progressing".
