One Stop Shops

Hire a promoter for your company, but beware, some of these people try to be a ‘one stop shop’ that does everything, printing, that includes business cards, brochures, flyers etc. Plus they create ‘websites’ plus they make pens, and coffee cups, vehicle lettering etc. The list goes on and on.

Promoting a business is a full time job, so is printing, so is creating websites, so is putting lettering on vehicles etc. You get the idea.

Stay away from a ‘one stop shop’ as they are a ‘jack of all trades and master of none.’ Each of these different jobs takes an expert, and you should hire an expert for each one.

If you still don’t ‘get it’ then lets explain it like this, would you hire a carpenter (no offense to carpenters out there) to pull a tooth? Sure, they have a bunch of tools, and those tools may even get the job done, but at what cost? A carpenter could pull your tooth with a pair of pliers, but what about the pain management, and what about the cleanliness of his tools. Will you get an infection after the carpenter pulls your tooth? Probably if the tool hasn’t been disinfected properly. Sure, they pulled the tooth for a cheaper price, but was it really cheaper? If the spot where they pulled your tooth gets infected, then chances are, it’s going to cost you a lot more, plus there is the whole pain management, which a carpenter can’t write a prescription for medicine to help with.

Think about it. And stay away from a ‘one stop shop.’
